What nutrients can currently be tracked in the app?

Currently you can track the following:

– protein

– carbs

– fiber

– sugars

– fat

– saturated fat

– unsaturated fat

– cholesterol

I cannot find the option to choose net carbs

Please make sure to:

– download the latest version of the app

– choose a keto plan

Only in these cases you will see the option to choose net carbs.

Should you not be able to see the option despite having the latest version and a keto plan chosen, please contact us with more details.

How can I delete my account? – iOS

Before you delete your account, please make sure your subscription to Premium has been cancelled so it will not renew (in case you have a running subscription).

Here you find instructions on how to cancel a subscription.

Only then delete your account by following these steps:

1) Go to Settings in your app

2) Then go to Account Settings

3) Click on Delete Account

How can I share my meals with other users? – iOS

You now have the option to share your tracked meals in your diary with other users in the ring of wellness app.

Sender:

1) In order to share an already tracked meal from your diary, please go to the meal section you would like to track (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack) and click on it

2) Click on the share icon in the upper section of the meal top right hand

3) You then can choose between Share with friend (so they can track the meal in their Diary) or Share on social (sharing it on Instagram, Facebook. etc)

4) The next page will share you the preview of the meal you are about to share – there you will still be able to edit what items to share

5) On the next page choose how to send / publish and send

You meal then has been shared.

How can I share my meals with other users? – Android

2) On the next screen you can choose between Share with friend (so they can track the meal in their Diary) or Share on social (sharing it on Instagram, Facebook. etc)

3) On the next page choose how to send / publish

4) On the next page you see the preview of the meal you are about to share and can still edit

5) You then see a message preview and can click on the send icon

Then your meal has been shared.

I have problems signing in with my Apple ID – what can I do?

If you are having issues when using Sign in with Apple you may need to reconnect your AppleID to Ring of wellness. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open the Settings app on your phone
2. Tap on [Your Name] at the top
3. Tap Password & Security
4. Tap Apple ID logins
5. Select ‘Ring of wellness’
6. Tap ‘Stop using Apple ID’
7. Return to Ring of wellness, and try to log in/sign up again

How can I cancel my Ring of wellness Premium membership subscription?

It is not Ring of wellness handling the payment but the payment platform you purchased your subscription on (e.g. iTunes, Google, Paypal, Samsung, Adyen (payment per credit card on our website). All subscriptions need to be canceled where the original purchase was made.


Please note that uninstalling the app or closing your account will NOT automatically stop your subscription. You have to actively cancel the subscription.

In order to do so, you need to cancel the recurring payments. Bear in mind, the subscription you’ve purchased remains active until it reaches its expiry date even when you cancel it right after the purchase.


For example, if you purchase a 1-month subscription and then choose to cancel it, the subscription will remain active until the end of the 1 month period. But then it will not renew.

Depending on the payment method you’ve used, there are different ways of cancelling your subscription:

1) iTunes: Your subscription can only be cancelled on your iTunes account by following these instructions: Apple Instructions (English), GermanDanishNorwegianItalianFrenchSpanish

NOTE: We can’t cancel your iTunes subscription for Ring of wellness Premium as Apple does not give us access to your payment data. If you don’t have the access to your iTunes account, you’ll have to contact Apple Support. 


Please make sure to log into the correct iTunes account. If you can’t see the cancel button in iTunes that either means you don’t have an active auto-renewing subscription (it might already have been cancelled), or you’re not logged into the correct iTunes account.

2) GooglePlay: Log into your GooglePlay account and follow the instructions from this link: GooglePlay Instructions 

NOTE: Please make sure to log into the correct Google account. If you can’t see the cancel button in Google that either means you don’t have an active auto-renewing subscription (it might already have been cancelled), or you’re not logged into the correct Google account.


3) PayPal: Cancel it by logging into your PayPal account via https://www.paypal.com/ and terminate the subscription.


4) Credit card on our website: Please log into you account on  and cancel it from there.

5) Samsung: Go to Samsung Galaxy Apps – Go to top right ‘My Page’ – Go to Receipts – Go to ‘Items’ find Ring of wellness subscription – Unsubscribe or log into your account and follow this link https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/OrderList.as?type=item

How can I receive a refund?

Important: you need to request a refund within 14 days – no refund will be granted after that time period. Just cancelling a subscription does not automatically result in a refund, it only avoids a renewal – please proceed as described below within 14 days in order to receive a refund. Thank you!


ITUNES
All payments handled by 
iTunes, such as in-app purchases, can be refunded and approved only by Apple. To receive a refund from Apple you need to contact iTunes Support within 14 days from the purchase date. To contact them, please follow this link: iTunes Support or call them via a number on this page . You should receive a confirmation email from iTunes Support when they receive your request. You’ll receive a followup response with Apple’s decision on a refund within a short period of time.Here  you can find a useful step by step tutorial on how to request a refund for an iTunes or App Store purchase.


PAYPAL
If you bought the Premium membership directly via 
Paypal, please contact us within 14 days after the purchase and let us know which account you have bought Premium with – provided you haven’t started using the app.

GOOGLE

If you bought the Premium membership via GooglePlay, please follow these instructions by Google https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637#apps

CREDIT CARD

If you bought the Premium membership with credit card, please contact us within 14 days after the purchase and let us know which account you have bought Premium with – provided you haven’t started using the app.

SAMSUNG

If you bought the Premium membership with Samsung, please contact Samsung Galaxy directly with a copy of the receipt with all details.

I used to be logged in automatically but it has stopped working – why?

If you use the SAME computer each time to access Ring of wellness :

Check that the ‘Automatic Log In’ setting on your account is still set.

To do this:

  1. Sign in and hover over ‘Profile’ in the top navigation bar and select any link under ‘My Account’.

  2. In the ‘Sign in details’ section, click ‘update’ where it says ‘Automatic Log In’.

  3. Select ‘Yes’ where it asks ‘Do you wish to stay logged in when you leave Ring of wellness ?’ and click ‘Confirm’.

When you return to the website, just click on any navigation tab and you will be signed straight in. If you have tried this and the problem persists, please contact the support

If you access Ring of Wellness through DIFFERENT computers (e.g. work & home)

The ‘Automatic Log In’ setting needs to be ticked on each computer you use to access Ring of wellness . Selecting the ‘Automatic Log In’ setting will only work on the computer you were signed in on when you did this.

To set ‘Automatic Log In’:

  1. Sign in and hover over ‘Profile’ in the top navigation bar and select any link under ‘My Account’.

  2. In the ‘Sign in details’ section, click ‘update’ where it says ‘Automatic Log In’.

  3. Select ‘Yes’ where it asks ‘Do you wish to stay logged in when you leave Ring of wellness ?’ and click ‘Confirm’.



 

My start weight is wrong. How do I change it?

Your Weight Tracker chart will have picked up the very first starting weight you entered into your Personal Details. You need to change this in two places…

  1. Click on the ‘My Profile’ tab and select the ‘Personal Details’ tab. Enter your correct start weight and then reset your goal weight further down the page. (Remember we advise that you set your targets in steps that are no more than a 10% loss). Then press ‘+Update’ to correct your Profile. This will update your daily calorie target and also reset your goal weight date automatically.

  2. Now click on the ‘Weigh-in’ tab and click on the ‘Update Weight Tracker’ link, then click on ‘Show Barchart’ and select ‘Show Data’ from the drop down. This will display weight entries as text rather than a bar chart view. To delete previous weight records, click on the grey dustbin next to each one. (You will need to remove each entry one at a time)

  3. Enter your correct start weight in the ‘Add new weight’ section above your charts. Press the ‘+ Update Chart’ to enter your new start weight for today’s date.

Tip!
If you want to enter your new start weight on a date before today, you need to use the calendar. This is the small icon with what looks like a number ‘7’ on it (to the left of the ‘update chart’ button). Click on the calendar icon to open it, select the date you want, then close the window by clicking the small x in the top right corner. Press the ‘update chart’ button.

Your start weight entry must be the earliest entry by date for your overall weight loss to be calculated correctly.





Do I need to eat less if I don’t burn off 200 calories in exercise?

No – it is not necessary to reduce your food intake by 200 calories if you don’t achieve the exercise target, but this combined target was set for you to help you achieve your weight loss at the rate you selected. You can still expect to lose, but the extra activity target is designed to accelerate this.

To lose 1lb a week you need to create a calorie deficit of between 500 – 600 calories a day. This is best achieved through a combination of eating less and increasing your activity level – hence why you are also set a target to burn 200 calories each day in additional activity.

Burning the extra 200 calories is especially important if your daily target is 1,400 calories to ensure that you lose weight at the rate you have selected. You will still lose weight by controlling your food intake, but without the exercise, but weight loss may be slightly slower (this is all explained on your Results page on the website).

Plus increasing your activity level has so many positive benefits on your general health!



How can I remove an item from my Favourites?

  1. Click on the ‘My Favourites’ link in the ‘Add food/drink’ panel.

  2. Click the orange ‘Edit/Multiple Add’ link to the right of the page title ‘My Favourites’.

  3. Select the items you wish to remove press ‘Delete selected lines’ and then confirm.
